COD Mobile Season 2 2026 Lunar Charge: Key Highlights and Seasonal Events

1v1 Duel Event: Second to None
Focused on the returning Duel mode, this event rewards players for earning trophies through victories. Rewards include Secret Caches, a new Merc 2 Operator Skin, and multiple weapon camos.

Ramadan Event: Starlit Quest
Launching on February 16, 2026, this free seasonal event celebrates Ramadan with themed rewards such as Zero — Tranquil Nights, AK47 — Luminous, and SVD — Falcon’s Eye, remaining active for the rest of the season.
Additional events include a DMZ: Recon team-up challenge, a Spring Break beach-themed event arriving in March, and more rotating activities.
COD Mobile Season 2 2026: Battle Pass and Challenge Pass
The Lunar Charge Battle Pass delivers free and premium rewards inspired by Lunar New Year traditions, including new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and Call of Duty Points.
Battle Pass Free Tiers
The Lachman-556 Assault Rifle debuts as the season’s new weapon, kind of what bridges SMGs and traditional assault rifles. Free tiers also include a Counter UAV Scorestreak Reskin, Secret Caches, weapon camos, and cosmetic rewards.
Premium Pass Tiers
Premium rewards include Operator Skins like Park — VNN Field Reporter, Stitch — The Butcher of Zordaya, and Isabella — Puno. Weapon Blueprints such as DLQ33 — Aftermath, PP19 — Headliner, SKS — Prison Break, and Lachman-556 — Full Steam headline the premium track.
Ground Forces subscribers receive the Daniel — Wartorn Operator Skin, UL736 — Fortune’s Charge Weapon Blueprint, and Backpack — Fortune’s Charge, along with XP boosts and store discounts.
Challenge Pass
The Season 2 Challenge Pass introduces a new set of Standard, Special, and Elite Missions. Tokens earned through completion can be exchanged for themed rewards, including a Modern Warfare (2019)-style Care Package Reskin and a Black Ops Cold War-inspired Flashbang Reskin.
New Modes and Gameplay Updates
New Battle Royale Limited Time Mode: Plunder
Plunder makes its long-awaited debut in Call of Duty: Mobile as a full-season Battle Royale mode. Dropping into Isolated as trios, squads compete to be the first to accumulate $1 million through looting, contracts, and eliminations.

Operators respawn after death, keeping the action constant while cash changes hands rapidly. High-earning players are marked on the map, creating natural hotspots and constant pressure as squads race toward the cash goal.
Once a squad crosses $1 million, a bonus round begins, multiplying all cash earned by 1.5x for three minutes before final totals determine the richest team.
Multiplayer Updates
New Map Variant: Shipment
Shipment receives a festive Lunar New Year makeover, featuring red and gold accents, falling snow, and decorative elements like firecrackers and Spring Festival banners. The themed version is live from launch until February 25, bringing a seasonal twist to the iconic close-quarters map.
Returning Mode: 1v1 Duel
1v1 Duel returns with its competitive best-of-three format, where players fight to seven eliminations per round. Loadout control shifts between rounds, giving the losing player the advantage of choosing the next weapon class. Every match awards trophies, with milestone rewards unlocked through continued participation.
COD Mobile Season 2 DMZ: Recon Updates
New In-Match Event: The Train
A new dynamic event arrives on Serpent Island as enemy reinforcements attempt to secure a moving train near a missile site. Squads must clear marked locations, activate the control system, and launch a missile to stop the train. Destroying it alerts every Operator in the match, turning the area into a high-risk, high-reward hotspot filled with premium loot.
New Contract Event: Five Gods of Wealth
As part of the Lunar New Year collaboration, a special contract appears on Serpent Island. After activating the Five Gods of Wealth contract, players must collect items from marked locations across the map. Completing the task allows squads to summon the Five Gods and exchange the collected items for large cash rewards.

New Boss: Velikan (Building 21)
Velikan joins Building 21 as a deadly new boss encounter. Guarded by armored soldiers and armed with his signature War Machine grenade launcher, Velikan patrols near the elevator once announced. Defeating him rewards squads with high-quality loot, including a powerful loot version of his War Machine.
Mythic Constellation: Weapon Trials
DMZ: Recon now allows players to trial Mythic Weapons by extracting newly added Mythic Weapon Parts found across Serpent Island and Building 21. Successfully extracting these items lets players exchange them for three-day trials of select Mythic Weapon Blueprints, offering a hands-on preview before committing to a Draw.
