COD Mobile teams up with South African rapper Nasty C as a Brand Collaborator

Nasty C, a well-known rapper from South Africa (SA), has been named the COD Mobile brand ambassador, according to an official announcement from Activision Blizzard. On their official Call of Duty Mobile Twitter account, the gaming industry behemoth made the announcement, saying the rapper “will host livestreams and in-person events to promote COD Mobile to South African gamers.”

COD Mobile looking to organize something exclusively for the South African community

Nasty C, a well-known rapper from South Africa, was recently signed by Activision, which led to an unexpected surprise. Rapper Nasty C also writes songs, produces records, and plays video games occasionally. He was the youngest recipient of the Best Freshman Award at the 2015 South African Hip-Hop Awards and presently has over 1 million YouTube subscribers.

According to a tweet from COD Mobile, Nasty C will market the game to South Africans through livestreams and live events after teaming up with Carry1st, a full-stack publisher of social games and interactive entertainment.

Given that COD Mobile hasn’t held an official event in at least two years, there are rumors that with this news, they may plan something special for the South African community. Following COD Mobile’s recent opening of a special in-game server for South Africa, which enables them to compete with better game optimizations and ping, that region also appears to be among the happiest of all. By competing with players from around the world, they can also observe a significantly improved experience.

For the players in South Africa, everything appears to be moving in the right direction now that they have two significant announcements to be happy about, rather than just one. The South African community has a lot coming their way, and it is obvious that this has raised their expectations for the future of Call of Duty: Mobile. More events are expected to occur, and there will be some great livestreams from Nasty C to watch out for.
