The Thumper is a brand new single-shot grenade launcher that is now available as a secondary weapon for free in COD Mobile Season 9. It’s lethal at close range but a little limited in firepower as only two rounds are available to the players in Call of Duty Mobile Multiplayer matches. The base version of the gun is available in the “Outta the Way!” seasonal challenge for free while the paid legendary version is available in the “UNHINGED JOKESTER DRAW” along with the Gunzo-Devil Jester skin and other rewards.
How to unlock the Thumper weapon for Free in COD Mobile
Players can unlock the Thumper by completing all the tasks in the “Outta the Way!” seasonal challenge of Call of Duty Mobile. The Thumper is the last reward while players can get a lot of other in-game skins, battle pass xp and credits by completing the challenges.
The challenges to be completed are as follows:
- Play 5 MP Matches– 5 Weapon XP Cards, 1000 Battle Pass XP
- Kill 5 enemies with any Lethal equipment– J358-Shocking, 1000 Battle Pass XP
- Kill 10 Enemies with any pistol– Urban Undead spray, 2000 Battle Pass XP
- Earn the Bloodthirsty Medal 5 times in MP Matches– Chipset Avatar Frame, 2000 Battle Pass XP
- Kill 30 Enemies with the Martyrdom Perk equipped– 10 Weapon XP Cards, 3000 Battle Pass XP
- Win 3 Matches with any Shotgun equipped with 5 attachments– SKS- Voltaic Garden, 3000 Battle Pass XP
- Kill 30 Enemies with the Amped Perk equipped– Thumper, 4000 Battle Pass XP
Note that these tasks must be completed in chronological order for them to count. The Bloodthirsty medal is earned when a player kills 5 enemies without dying. The Martyrdom Perk is available in the Credit Store right now.
How to equip the Thumper in COD Mobile Loadout
Once you have completed the tasks in the seasonal challenge and unlocked the Thumper, Equip it in your loadout and try the launcher out.
- The weapon can be equipped in BR and MP loadouts. Follow the steps given below to know how.
- From the game’s main menu, go to Loadout, located at the bottom next to ‘Clan’
- Choose any loadout with which you want to equip the Thumper
- Click on the secondary slot and then click on launchers
- Click on the Thumper and then finally click on Quick Equip to equip it.
- In Battle Royale, head to Loadout and then Battle Royale. Click on the Customize Airdrop Weapon option and then scroll down on the left side to Launchers. Quick Equip the Thumper now in your loadout.
