COD Warzone Mobile limits to 160 ping to play Limited Release; discourages VPN use

Players need ping under 160ms to play smoothly!

COD Warzone Mobile, the highly anticipated COD battle royale game is currently in limited release in select countries of Australia, Chile, Norway, and Sweden. The game was first released in Australia and then was followed by other countries. Now, COD Warzone Mobile has begun displaying a notice to players who are outside these regions, limiting the ping to 160 and disallows the use of VPN.

COD Warzone Mobile discourages VPN use during the limited release with an in-game notice

The in-game notice states that the game needs a strong internet connection to local servers and players must disable any VPN software or app connection. Only Australia, Chile, Norway, and Sweden are supported during the limited release. The notice also adds that VPN connections from regions other than these four are not supported and can ruin the experience for all players in general.

The game now needs under 160 ping and if the ping goes above it, the notice may appear and show an Exit button. If players, click on the Exit button the game will close on the device. However, players can ignore this notice and use a VPN that offers high speeds and low latency for a smooth experience.

There might be players who must be worried about an account ban due to VPN use need not worry as there is no restriction on using VPNs. The game may only bring back the notice if there’s a bad connection, nothing more than that.
