Dark and Darker Mobile has finally confirmed the global release now, with the extradition RPG set to grace your mobile screens in Q4 of 2024. Before that, KRAFTON will gear up for a soft launch of Dark and Darker Mobile in October this year in Canada, as well as a showcase at Gamescom.
Dark and Darker Mobile delivers an exciting mix of multiple genres
Announced first in August 2023 when KRAFTON got the exclusive global license, Dark and Darker Mobile delivers an exciting mix of RPG, battle royale, and dungeon crawling that’s sure to keep players hooked. Set in a grim medieval world, the game tasks players with exploring dungeons, battling fierce monsters, and defeating rival adventurers.
With six unique classes, each offering its own set of skills, you can join forces with friends to create powerful teams or even play solo modes. The game had multiple tests conducted over time, with a recent round of closed beta test concluded, which was from August 1st to August 11th, 2024 in select regions.
In the recently held KRAFTON Q2 2024 earnings call, the company highlighted the success of the Global Beta Test. Unlike typical session-based games, the beta featured unique non-combat content, offering a fresh experience for us players. Additionally, KRAFTON mentioned improvements in both the combat experience and the user interface which was seen in the testing.
Dark and Darker Mobile will see a release between October to December 2024
As mentioned earlier, Dark and Darker Mobile is aiming for release this year and will be showcased at Gamescom in Germany at the end of this month. Dark and Darker Mobile global release scheduled for the fourth quarter could be released anytime between October and December 2024.
With the Canada test in October, there is a high chance that it might not be released in that month. Given the pattern of August and October testing with a break in between, I believe there is a possibility of the game releasing in mid-November to December 2024.
