DC Heroes United, a story-driven adventure based on the popular American comic book series opens pre-registration on Android and iOS platforms. The game is from Genvid Entertainment, known for their hit survival title SILENT HILL: Ascension.
DC Heroes United brings iconic characters from the renowned universe with a gripping story
From the name itself, I could tell that the game would include all the iconic characters from the DC Universe, like Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman, and it’s true. The game is quite different from what I expected; DC Heroes United is an interactive series where you can shape the destinies of these iconic DC characters.
Set in Earth-212, you join a global community of Justice League fans to make decisions that influence the storyline. As the Tower of Fate threatens reality, each episode airs live, and you participate in making crucial choices that determine the plot, forging new paths for these heroes.
From the screenshots, you can see your decisions will impact the story and hence it will craft how you progress. In a way, it feels like a visual novel in some parts, with a series to watch, and an adventure in the rest, so the complete overview will come out once the game’s released.
To participate in the series, you need Story Tokens, which can be earned by joining the EveryHero Project within the app. This roguelike experience, created by Lex Luthor, allows you to engage in a simulation blending the powers of Super Heroes and Villains. Facing enemies like Bane and Poison Ivy, you can explore Gotham, Metropolis, and other locations, helping the Justice League in their weekly quests.
I’m quite excited about how this game will pan out, and if you are on the same page, head over to the official store pages of DC Heroes United on Android and iOS respectively for pre-registration of the game. From the iOS store listing, the release date is expected on 31st December 2024, so keep an eye on this space for updates as well as the official website.
