Diablo Immortal reveals its 2024 roadmap
Emerging demonic dangers lurk just beyond the crimson-hued skyline, presenting formidable challenges that must be conquered. Adventurers shall assume the role of a novel Class within the Diablo realm, partake in the spoils of our second-year commemoration, and undertake two primary quests to confront the menacing Lord of Terror. Concurrently, the Age of Unmaking—a set of challenging gameplay activities—will invigorate the endgame experience, offering players potent Eternal Equipment as rewards. These previews merely scratch the surface of our forthcoming offerings.
Diablo Immortal Precipice of Horror update introduces Terror Rifts
Terror Rifts have erupted within Sanctuary, manifesting daily from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. server time. Within three random zones, portals to these Terror Rifts materialize for brief 20-minute intervals. Adventurers who venture into these portals must confront formidable monsters to obtain Stygian Fragments. These fragments, when collected, can be offered to the Stygian Spire to summon the formidable boss creature. Upon defeating this boss, generous rewards, including the coveted Terror Essence, await the triumphant.
With the acquired Terror Essence, players can undertake the ultimate trial of courage known as the Oblivion Pillars. Located near the sites of Terror Rifts, these pillars are accessible only to those playing on Inferno Difficulty I or higher. Surviving the onslaught of empowered monsters grants the opportunity to acquire Eternal Equipment and various other valuable rewards.
Transform bounties into Hellslayer Challenges in the Diablo Immortal Precipice of Horror update
Hellslayer Bounties will be accessible to both groups and solo players starting from Inferno Difficulty I and higher. By exchanging one Terror Essence, players have the option to amalgamate four regular, active Bounties into a Hellslayer Bounty through the Bounty Board. Upon completing a bounty, players will accrue Codex credit along with a reward chest, which carries the potential to grant Eternal Equipment.
Eternal Equipment represents a novel category of items within Sanctuary, distinguished by its rarity and potency. These items exclusively emerge from Terror Rifts, Oblivion Pillars, and Hellslayer Bounties, boasting three Attributes and four Magic Affixes. A fresh assortment of 56 Affixes is poised to debut, accessible on items endowed with 1-3 Magic Affixes acquired from Terror Rifts, Oblivion Pillars, and Hellslayer Bounties.
