Disney Pixel RPG is the new adventure set in the ever-popular Disney franchise, with the title opening pre-registration globally, following Japan back in July 2024. The game is an offering from GungHo Online Entertainment, known for being the creators of TEPPEN, a digital collectible card game.

The game itself gives out what type of experience we are going to get. The game is an RPG filled with adventures of beloved Disney characters in pixel art style, be it Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Pooh, and Aladdin to name a few. According to the developers, classic Disney characters are reborn with new looks inspired by rhythm games, board game genres, and more.
You join Disney characters in an epic quest to restore order across multiple game worlds. The gameplay seems to be in portrait mode, although I’m unsure if they will also bring a landscape switch. We will have simple yet engaging battles suitable for all players, with fast-paced action and easy-to-use commands, and yes, we also have idle elements, thanks to an auto mode.
In addition, the game brings character customization as well, which allows us to create unique avatars by combining different hairstyles and Disney-themed outfits. There is even a system of Expeditions in which the pixelated Disney characters collect materials and power up while out of your control. Overall, if you love pixel RPGs with cute art styles, this is your go-to title.
With the pre-registration open, you can head towards the Google Play Store or App Store depending on if you or on Android or iOS platforms to register for Disney Pixel RPG. The app listing shows an expected release of October 7th, 2024, so let us wait for official updates via their site.
