eFootball 2026 gears up for a massive Naruto collaboration as Neymar appears in the early cover assets

Believe it!

Story Highlights
  • eFootball 2026 Naruto collaboration spotted via early update assets.
  • Neymar appears in Naruto-themed visuals in leaked client build.
  • New Epic cards and themed events expected with v5.4.1 update.

A massive collaboration is here, and while the eFootball CONNECT episode before the v5.4.0 update did give me hopes about something big, well, this was truly a surprise. Because KONAMI’s next big crossover for eFootball 2026 looks like it’s going full anime again, and this time, it’s Naruto.

eFootball 2026 x Naruto follows previous anime collabs like Blue Lock, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Captain Tsubasa

From what’s been spotted, the game icon and client visuals have already been updated, featuring a crossover theme that blends eFootball with Naruto. One of the most noticeable details is Neymar appearing in a Naruto-inspired look.

This isn’t the first time Konami has accidentally, or quietly, let things slip early. A similar situation happened with the 5.4.0 update, where content went live on certain platforms before any official announcement. Mobile didn’t get that early look back then, and it’s the same case here.

There’s already talk about what’s coming with this collaboration. The expectation is new Epic cards themed around Naruto, along with special events and packs tied to the crossover. With the v5.4.1 update on the way, it makes sense that this will be the update where everything properly rolls out.

This Naruto crossover would follow previous anime collaborations like Yu-Gi-Oh!, Captain Tsubasa, and Blue Lock. And if you played during the Blue Lock event, you already know how well those themed cards were handled. So there’s hope that Konami brings that same level of detail again, maybe even better this time.

For now, it’s still not officially announced, but these early assets usually don’t show up without reason. With April 30, 2026, being mentioned around the update timing, we probably won’t have to wait long for Konami to make it official.
