After all the hurdles, it is good news for Epic Games and players as the Epic Games Store is now available to download on Android and iOS platforms. Users worldwide can download the app on Android, although iOS downloads are restricted, limited to the ones from the European Union.
Players can now enjoy new games on their mobile devices via the Epic Games Store
The Store has been launched on mobile alongside Fall Guys. With the platform’s official launch, games like Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe are now accessible on Android devices worldwide and on iOS within the European Union, thanks to the Digital Markets Act (DMA) following a long Epic vs Apple battle.
Celebrating the launch, Epic Games Store brings exciting in-game challenges for mobile players across Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe. While the challenges can be seen on all platforms, they must be completed on a mobile device, as streaming services don’t support them. Completing these challenges will earn you a range of in-game rewards.
These rewards include a new Fortnite outfit with matching back bling, pickaxe, and wrap, a fresh Fall Guys bean costume, a Fall Guys-themed pickaxe for use in Fortnite, and a gold vehicle trim that’s available now in Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe.
You can also earn these rewards through AltStore PAL on iOS in the EU. Epic Games is working to expand availability by bringing their titles to stores that offer favorable terms for all developers. The rewards will also be accessible through other mobile stores until November 2, 2024. Additionally, plans are in place to introduce the games to Aptoide’s iOS store in the EU and ONE Store on Android.
