The Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 is back with its second season. After the successful completion of the first event in 2024, the second wave is going to take place this year. The multi-game esports tournament will bring all the professional esports athletes across multiple titles under the same roof and showcase their fierce competition to the world.
The event is a rebranded version of Gamers8, organized by the Esports World Cup Foundation and ESL FACEIT Group. The grand event will kick off in June 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
List of all the events in the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025
The grand event will feature both PC and Mobile titles. And mobile games will take a lot of focus this time, both in terms of viewership and other factors. There will be a total of 21 titles and a massive prize pool of $27,000,000. And the overall prize pool is $70,000,000!
Esports organizations will send their lineups for the games they have teams for before the 16th of May 2025. Each event in this tournament will award points to teams within the top 8.
The team with the highest points after the end of the event will win the championship prize money, which is $7,000,000. However, the top team should win at least one event to be the winner of the whole event.

Following the successful completion of its previous EWC edition in Riyadh, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) will be back with two separate events. One of the events is going to be women-only. The Mid-Season Cup 2025 will be for regular esports actions.

2. Honor of Kings
Honor of Kings was the first title that was announced for the event. Following the esports roadmap for 2025, the game will host its World Cup 2025. Though it was announced first, many of the details are still to be announced. The event at EWC 2025 will feature 18 participants.

3. Free Fire

4. PUBG Mobile
PUBG Mobile will again host its World Cup 2025, sharing the stage with 20 other titles. The game announced the 2025 esports circuit in the very first stage of the new year. Now, the schedule is going great for the game, and fans will be able to witness the action once again.
The upcoming international event for the game will feature 24 teams along with a huge prize pool of $3 million. It will be interesting to see which team can top the table.

5. Dota 2

9. Chess
