Saudi-based ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) has announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement to become an official operating partner of the Esports World Cup. With ESL being one of the notable names in esports and video game entertainment, their deal with the largest esports competition is a huge opportunity.

As the official operating partner, EFG is in charge of running tournament operations and broadcast programming. EFG has also worked closely with the Esports World Cup to boost its product offerings and global marketing strategy, ensuring the event reaches and resonates with a worldwide audience.
Ralf Reichert, CEO of the Esports World Cup Foundation stated: “EFG’s operational excellence and industry-leading experience have been invaluable as we execute this world-first event, and we’re excited to lean on our multi-year partnership as we look to expand Esports World Cup programming and accelerate the industry’s growth.” EFG Co-CEO Craig Levine also expressed excitement, mentioning this deal as a “historic step forward for esports’ global growth”.
Running over eight weeks, from July 3 to August 25, 2024, the Esports World Cup has transformed Riyadh‘s host city into the ultimate destination for esports fans and gaming enthusiasts. Set in Boulevard City, this epic event allows fans to cheer on their favorite players and clubs as they compete in 22 different game championships.
If you do not know, the Esports World Cup will be having an amazing lineup of games in action, including mobile. Some of these games include PUBG Mobile, Honor of Kings, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Free Fire, and League of Legends to name a few.
With more than $60 million in prize money on the line, this competition boasts the largest prize pool in esports history.
