James Yang, Senior Director of the Global Esports Center at Level Infinite, recapped 2024 and unveiled plans for the 2025 esports year. The game invested a massive $15 million in esports programs in 2024. As its popularity grows, it decided to deliver more in the coming year.
Calling the memories from Honor of Kings Invitational Season 1 in Istanbul, Yang said that the game wasn’t global then. So, only 18 teams participated in that event. Now, the global presence and acceptance are on a new level. So, the upcoming events will carry the aura of that.
