Fortnite x Destiny 2: Leaks reveal a possible crossover coming soon in the game

Here's everything you need to know about the rumoured crossover!

The rumors around a new Fortnite collaboration have been spreading everywhere on social media. The rumors included a collaboration with big names like Lord of the rings, Doom, Family Guy, and Destiny 2, all of which are extremely famous across the globe. Now new leaks from prominent Fortnite leakers suggest that Fortnite’s new collaboration will be with Destiny 2 as leaked images show characters from Fortnite being recreated in Destiny 2.

Dataminers confirm collaboration between Fortnite and Destiny 2

Over the past few weeks, we have been hearing a lot of rumors about the collaboration with Destiny 2. But, now data miners have found solid evidence that confirms a collaboration between Fortnite and Destiny 2. Earlier today, prominent Destiny dataminer Ginsor confirmed the collaboration of Fortnite with Destiny 2 with leaks showing an image that showed a titan armor that is similar to Black Knight skin that was obtainable from the season pass of Fortnite season 2.

Destiny’s Warlock is also shown in the picture with a drift mask that resembles a drift mask from Fortnite. And finally, the Hunter in the image looks like Omega from Fortnite. These images are believed to have been obtained from Bungie’s own website.

Although Ginsor provided no information on how players can obtain these skins or when they will be introduced into the game. But it is very likely that these skins will be universal ornaments that will allow players to customize them and apply them to any armor sets. The chances for this crossover to happen are very high as we have seen Bungie add crossover content to Destiny 2 before, and also Bungie will be revealing Season 18 of Destiny in a few days.

Fortnite has not yet confirmed the collaboration officially

Popular Fortnite data miner also confirmed the collaboration by tweeting the same image by Ginsor, this only adds up to the credibility of this leak as more and more data miners have been saying the same thing.

But, nothing has been announced officially yet. Fortnite has given no information about the collab, but data miners think that Fortnite could also get original characters from Destiny 2, but they haven’t been able to find any data that supports this argument.

After being acquired by Sony for $3.7 Billion earlier this year, Bungie has scheduled the first showcase for Destiny 2 on August 23rd at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. This might be the time when they will reveal the news about the collaboration with Fortnite.
