Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Fall announced with a prize pool of ₹ 75,00,000

Garena has announced the Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Fall, it’s flagship event which is now open to all Free Fire players in India and Nepal. Teams can sign up for this tournament between August 16th, 2021 to August 23rd, 2021 through the in-game Free Fire Cup (FFC) mode. The top FFC teams will be joined by seeded teams from the recent Free Fire Pro League (FFPL) 2021 Summer, as they compete for the best part of the ₹ 75,00,000 prize pool in this esports tournament.


How to register for Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Fall

Format

The road to the  Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Fall will not be easy. Teams will have to navigate through a total of five arduous stages in order to win the tournament’s ultimate prize. All of the matches will be played in the Battle Royale Squad mode. The FFIC 2021 will follow the same format as its previous edition Free Fire India Championship 2020 with a few tweaks.

Open and Closed Qualifiers

The tournament will kick off with two qualifier stages where teams will fight against each other to earn a spot in the FFIC 2021 Fall League Stage. Participants will first compete in the Open Qualifiers via the Free Fire Cup (FFC) mode. The top 42 teams from this stage will be advancing to the Closed Qualifiers.

These 42 teams will be joined by 6 teams ranked from 7th to 12th in the recently concluded Free Fire Pro League (FFPL) 2021 Summer. The Closed Qualifiers will be held on September 1st and September 2nd where the top 12 teams, together with the top 6 seeded teams from FFPL 2021 Summer will embark on the FFIC 2021 Fall League Stage. The FFIC 2021 Fall will continue with teams competing across a further three stages – the League Stage, Play-ins, and Grand Finals.

League Stage

The League Stage will have the top 18 teams divided into 3 groups of 6 teams. Moreover, every group will play against each other round-robin style over the course of 9 league days, spanning a period of 3 weeks. This will be taking place from September 17th to October 3rd.

Play-Ins

The top 2 teams from each of the 3 groups will qualify directly for the Grand Finals of this tournament. Furthermore, the remaining 12 teams will take part in the Play-Ins on October 10th, where they will battle it out for the remaining 6 Grand Final spots.

Grand Finals

The tournament will be heading towards an end as we will be having our winner of the Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Fall in the Grand Finals. The FFIC 2021 Fall Grand Finals will be held on October 17th, 2021, and will have 12 teams battle for a share of the ₹ 75 lakh prize pool.


Prize Pool of ₹ 75,00,000 up for grabs in FFIC 2021 Fall

Free Fire doesn’t disappoint again when considering the prize pool. Teams from India and Nepal will battle against each other for the ₹ 75 lakh prize pool. However, the prize money will not be the only reward at stake. The top-performing teams at the FFIC 2021 Fall will get the coveted opportunity to represent the region at Free Fire’s upcoming international tournament.

The top 12 teams from FFIC 2021 Fall will also qualify directly for the next Free Fire Pro League 2021 Winter. Moreover, the FFIC 2021 Fall will be broadcast live from the League Stage onwards.
