Genshin Impact‘s new Patch 2.2 is going to be released on October 13 and the update will give access to the Tsurumi, the last island in Inazuma. The update will bring new quests and new levels for the Sacred Sakura tree. There will be also some new characters, mechanics, and events that everyone will look forward to in the 2.2 version of Genshin Impact.
There are many events in this version that will allow players to earn precious Primogems and other rewards for the characters that they want to build. Here is a list of all the upcoming events that fans need to look forward to.
Genshin Impact 2.2 update: Upcoming events
Labyrinth Warriors
During this event, players will enter a mystic dungeon where they have to tackle fierce enemies trapped within. The chamber is full of surprises and poses various threats that can be very tricky to handle for underprepared teams. Players need to select two teams before entering the domain and also select buffs among the various available options.
The rewards for the completing challenges in the event include Primogems, Mora, Hero’s Wit. Defeating enemies drop random items one of which is the event currency “Aged Tokens”. By exchanging Aged Tokens, players can get Primogems, Mora, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Talent Book, Character Ascension Material and lastly a free 4-star character, Xinyan.
Shadow of the Ancients
The event takes place in Tsurumi Island where a Ruin Grader with regenerative powers was found. The traveler partners with a scholar from Sumeru to conduct an investigation and research the mysterious source of the energy using a new gadget. Scouting locations, finding components will grant players with Primogems, Mora, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and Talent books.
Tuned to the World’s Sounds
This fun-filled event is one where players will play the instrument Floral Zither with various characters from Teyvat. Travelers team up with 7 characters who have different music to play melodies. Completing the tasks will reward players with Primogems, Mora, and more.
Dreams of Bloom
The Inazuman florist Sakuya wants to promote her shop, “Sakuya’s Flowers,” so she is organizing a new promotional activity. The event requires the travelers to submit materials daily as requested by Sakuyu to obtain seeds.
The seeds can be planted in the Serenitea Pot and grow into Dreamblooms of three kinds based on the seed obtained. Players can share their flowers with friends and get rewards like Primogems and Mora, along with a customizable gardening package that includes a flower stand.
Ley Line Overflow
Ley Line Overflow is a returning event that provides players the opportunity to obtain two times the normal rewards from Blossom of Wealth and Blossom of Revelation. Mora and Hero’s Wit are two scarce resources in Genshin Impact that are used extensively, and this event provides the chance to get double the rewards three times a day for the duration of the event.
Only claiming the rewards using normal resin grants double the rewards, using condensed resin doesn’t provide the bonus.
New Hangout Events
Introduced in Patch 1.4, Hangout Events are special Story Quests that can be replayed and have multiple endings. These help the travelers understand the characters more and explore the story through their lens. Patch 2.2 adds two new hangout events, one each for Thoma and Sayu. To unlock each hangout events players need to use 2 story keys.
Genshin Impact x Horizon Zero Dawn
Players will have access to the Aloy, the proven huntress from Nora Tribe who is known to be an able fighter. Players will get the 5 Star Cryo Character in the in-game mail system.
