Genshin Impact leaks reveal the Golden Apple Archipelago set to return in version 2.8 update

Travelers will be able to revisit the picturesque archipelago

According to recent Genshin Impact leaks, the Golden Apple Archipelago is likely to return soon. The Golden Archipelago was only a temporary map during its debut in Genshin Impact 1.6. The region created a link between Mondstadt-Liyue and Inazuma, tying the two tales together.

Genshin Impact Golden Apple Archipelago anticipated release date

According to recent leaks, The Golden Apple Archipelago will be rerun during the 2.8 version. In the imminent Genshin Impact 2.6, The Chasm will be introduced. The new region is a massive crater with several levels of exploration. Data Miners have discovered files indicating that covering the tale from this old location will require two whole patches.

After the massive plot concludes, Hoyoverse aims to bring back the beloved archipelago right before releasing Dendro Nation: Sumeru. Check the complete list of regions if you do not know yet.

What is Golden Apple Archipelago

The Golden Apple Archipelago is a set of islands east of Mondstadt that were formed by Anemo Archon’s wind. It is a neutral zone, according to Jean, that does not belong to any nation. It was shrouded in fog for many years, preventing people from entering the region.

When Klee receives an ominous warning from Dodoco King (Klee’s mother Alice in disguise but not present in person) that her beloved Dodoco will be taken if she does not make it to the mysterious archipelago, The Traveler, Jean, Barbara, and Klee embark on a journey to the archipelago, which they reach with the assistance of Venti. The rest of the tale is solving numerous puzzles and exploring the archipelago to discover Dodoco king’s plans and prevent him from abducting Dodoco.
