Like all other RPGs, the world of Genshin Impact is comprised of different elements that make exploration fun and exciting for players. Players like to immerse themselves in the visceral world of Teyvat. Even the minor elements are taken into account by the hardcore players. This is why it is no surprise that some players are frustrated with the missing of a cat-shaped cloud above the Asase Shrine in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact missing cat cloud: What we know so far
Asase Shrine is situated on Seirai Island; its construction was done to suppress the hostile Kanna Kapatcir’s power. In Teyvat the shrine remains mostly abandoned after 500 years. Players while traveling and exploring visit a lot of places and one such place near the shrine has a building filled with cats. Among them is a black cat called Neko with whom players must talk to unlock the Neko Is a Cat series of World Quests.Â
Upon completing these quests players are rewarded with a lot of goodies but the most important of them for the players is the appearance of a cat-shaped cloud in the sky above Asase Shrine.
In the Genshin Impact subreddit, Redditor TheEdelBernal has pointed out that the cloud is missing for some time. He further said that he has reported the issue to customer service who have responded that they will look into the matter.
Elperello73, another Reddit user however said that he can still see the cat-shaped cloud in the sky. So, there’s a chance that the cloud’s absence is the result of a glitch or error in Genshin Impact which is nothing new. A third Redditor TheOtherKraken claimed that the cloud is missing because it was never meant to be permanent.
Whatever the reason, miHoYo must resolve the situation as soon as possible since this is creating a lot of fuss among players.
