Chinese interactive entertainment developer and publisher miHoYo announced today that its latest RPG title Genshin Impact is set to release on September 28 for Android, iOS, and PC. This upcoming free-to-play title will allow players to roam the vast lands of an exotic world alone or adventure with friends in cross-platform co-op mode. It will be the second game from miHoYo after Guns GirlZ.
About Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact is an open-world action RPG title that takes place in a massive fantasy continent of the Teyvat. The game features an open-world map, which the player explores by walking, climbing, swimming, and gliding as necessary. Players will take on the role of the mysterious “Traveler”, setting off the journey of finding their lost sibling, and ultimately unravels the mysteries of themselves and the world.
Genshin Impact allows players to find two of the seven cities in Teyvat i.e Mondstadt and Liyue Harbor. Each city has a unique cultural ambiance, stories, vast surrounding landscapes full of diverse creatures and enemies, mysteries, and hidden treasures. Other cities will be available after updates.
Genshin Impact was announced in June 2019, with a release target of 2020. The trailer showed an open-world heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in terms of gameplay. Check out the official gameplay trailer for some sneak peeks into the game!
The game will offer multiplayer
The game offers both single-player modes as well as the multiplayer for up to four players and this is the best part. Now, the players will have the option to choose as to how they want to play the game.
Genshin Impact pre-registration has started
You can now pre-register for Genshin Impact on Android & iOS from the official website. Players can invite friends to pre-register together to participate in the pre-registration campaign and claim rewards.
