Genshin Impact released a new Teaser introducing what’s in store in the upcoming story. With many previous teasers and trailers before, we finally get a concrete teaser for the new region, Nod Krai. In the teaser, it reveals the next line-up of possible playable characters and provides us with a snippet of what’s to come story-wise. Let’s see what Genshin Impact Version 6.0 Nod Krai characters have in store for us!
Introducing Nod Krai, the new location coming with the 6.0 update
Nod-Krai is a wild and dangerous place in the southern part of Snezhnaya, and I’m honestly really excited to explore it! It’s known as a place where people from all over Teyvat gather, and some even say it’s full of chances to get rich, like a dreamland, even if that’s not true.
The area is super harsh with barely any protection, and if you’re carrying a lot of Mora, you might become a target. There are some really interesting places like Nasha Town, a weird craft shop, and a mysterious group called the Frostmoon Scions who worship a moon god.
The Fatui, led by Il Dottore, have also set up a base there, and rumors say some Harbingers might be involved. That explains why we see Wanderer in the trailer! Plus, there’s Abyss activity and even stronger enemies called the Wild Hunt. It sounds dangerous, but also really cool and full of mystery.

In order from left to right:
- Aino
- Jahoda
- Nefer
- Lauma
The above four are characters that haven’t been introduced before. Although they do have amazing character designs to wager for!
- Alice
- Sandrone
- Columbina
- Nicole Reeyn
Genuinely a stacked line-up! If you have been keeping up with Genshin Impact‘s lore, I know you are just as excited as I am. The above characters have been teased on and off from the past storylines, and we are finally getting to meet with them. Alice and Nicole are members of the Hexenzirkel. Sandrone and Columbina are members of the Fatui Harbingers.

We’re finally getting some playable male characters in the upcoming content! The only unknown person here is Flins, whom we have never met or heard of in the past Versions. The other two, on the other hand, are very lore-relevant characters.
Varka is the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius in Mondstadt, who has been gone for over half a year with most of the crew of the Knights on an expedition. Durin, on the other hand, is another character whom we got familiarized with during the Limited Events. He resided in Dragonspine and is a failed experiment of Rhinedottir.
Final Thoughts
I’m buzzing with excitement for Version 6.0 and the arrival of Nod-Krai! Just seeing the teaser and reading about all the new characters has me hyped. Lore-wise, this update is a dream come true.
We’re about to unpack tons of new story, learn about the curtain behind the Frostmoon Scions, the deeper tension with the Fatui, and finally get answers to mysteries that have been lingering since the Abyss attacked. Emotionally and narratively, Version 6.0 is shaping up to be one of Genshin’s richest and most thrilling chapters yet!
