Players will be able to pull on the character and weapon banners once 3.2 goes live. The banners will be available til 18th November 2022 17:59 server time. Genshin Impact version 3.2 Phase 1 banners will feature one new 5* character and one new 5* weapon.

The first character banner for Genshin Impact version 3.2 Phase 1: The Moongrass’ Enlightenment

The debut of the Dendro Archon, this banner is the first drop-rate boost of the event-exclusive 5* character Lesser Lord Kusanali aka “Physic of Purity” Nahida (dendro/catalyst). She will be the premier choice for Dendro application in any team that benefits from it.

Nahida will be accompanied by the 4* characters “Wolf Boy” Razor (electro/claymore), “Chivalric Blossom” Noelle (geo/claymore), and “Trial By Fire” Bennet (pyro/sword), who will also receive a huge drop rate boost. These three 4* characters are also permanently available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation without any boosted drop rates.

The second character banner for Genshin Impact version 3.2 Phase 1: Tapestry of Golden Flames

The second rerun of the event-exclusive 5* character “Frolicking Flames” Yoimiya (pyro/bow). She is one of the best 5* pyro DPS characters right alongside Hu Tao. In the past, Hoyoverse had sandwiched Yoimiya’s banners between 2 highly anticipated characters. This time, they have chosen to rerun her with the most anticipated character of 2022. However, that should not stop Yoimiya lovers from pulling on her banner.

Yoimiya will be accompanied by the 4* characters “Wolf Boy” Razor (electro/claymore), “Chivalric Blossom” Noelle (geo/claymore), and “Trial By Fire” Bennet (pyro/sword), who will also receive a huge drop rate boost. These three 4* characters are also permanently available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation without any boosted drop rates.

All of them will receive a huge drop rate boost. “The Flute” (sword), “Sacrificial Greatsword” (claymore), “Favonious Lance” (polearm), and “Rust” (bow) are also permanently available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation without any boosted drop rates.

Final Thoughts

The main attraction of Genshin Impact 3.2 Phase I banners is Nahida, and she is expected to be the best Dendro character so far. If players enjoy drafting Dendro teams, Nahida is definitely a must-pull. She will have great synergy with hydro and electro, and she will become a staple of Dendro-centric teams. If players own “Dance of Lotuslight” Nilou, Nahida becomes an instant must-pull as she is one of the few characters who absolutely need Nahida to function at her full potential.

Yoimiya banners always have the worst timing possible, being around the banners of more desirable characters. As a result, many players have understandably chosen to skip her in the past. Ever since her release, Yoimiya has only gotten better. She has received a normal attack buffer in the form of Yun Jin, and the release of Yelan has only made Yoimiya teams stronger than ever.

While her DMG potential is really high, she does have a few caveats. Them being: her DMG is purely single target locked, and she is highly dependent on finishing her normal attack string without being interrupted. Being single-target locked can be great for shredding bosses, but it creates a challenge while fighting mobs.

The other 5* pyro DPS Hu Tao has no problems hitting multiple enemies at once. Even though her playstyle is mostly single-target oriented, she is not single-target locked. This is the main reason Yoimiya is undervalued. The issue of her relying heavily on not getting interrupted can be mitigated by using a shielder like Zhongli, so it is less of a problem than the previously mentioned one.

However, even will all her issues, Yoimiya is not a bad character at all and her DMG ceiling is really high in single-target scenarios. She is not a must-pull by any means, but if players are not interested in Dendro-oriented teams and have been looking forward to Yoimiya’s rerun, it is a valid reason to pull for Yoimiya instead of Nahida.

At the moment, “Physic of Purity” Nahida seems to be the only character to best utilize the passive of A Thousand Floating Dreams. Players are advised to pull for this weapon only if they have pulled Nahida. As for Thundering Pulse, it is a great weapon for any bow user. It is also the signature best-in-slot weapon for “Frolicking Flames” Yoimiya. Even though the passive works best for Yoimiya, any bow user will benefit from the high base ATK and high CRIT DMG substat.

Among the drop rate boosted 4* weapons, Favonius Lance is a great choice for any polearm user with energy issues. Another great weapon is Rust which is actually Yoimiya’s best 4* weapon at R5 because of its normal attack-boosting passive.
