Genshin Impact Version 5.2 Phase 1 First character banner: Skyborne Arbiter
- Chasca “Piercing Shot’s Crimson Wake” (5* Anemo/Bow)
- Ororon (4* Electro/Bow)
- Barbara (4* Hydro/Catalyst)
- Sucrose (4* Anemo/Catalyst)
Chasca is one of the most exciting DPS characters in Genshin Impact, with a play style that’s as flashy as it is fun. She’s an Anemo character, but her real strength comes from her ability to deal “rainbow“ damage. Her Charged Attacks fire multiple bullets, and depending on your team composition, these bullets transform into different elements Pyro, Electro, Cryo, or Hydro.

- Lyney “Conjuring Chiaroscuro” (5* Pyro/Bow)
- Ororon (4* Electro/Bow)
- Barbara (4* Hydro/Catalyst)
- Sucrose (4* Anemo/Catalyst)
Lyney is a versatile 5-star Pyro DPS in Genshin Impact who excels in dealing high damage with his Charged Attacks while bringing utility and self-sustain to the battlefield. His gameplay revolves around the precise execution of his abilities and a unique mechanic involving Prop Arrows and taunting cat figures.
Genshin Impact Version 5.2 Phase 1 Weapon banner: Epitome Invocation
- Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage (5* Bow)
- The First Great Magic (5* Bow)
- Waveriding Whirl (4* Catalyst)
- Flower-Wreathed Feathers (4* Bow)
- The Flute (4* Sword)
- The Bell (4* Claymore)
- Favonius Lance (4* Polearm)
Both 5* bows are amazing options although the passive specifically caters to their individual kits. As for the versatility of other Bow characters, The First Great Magic is more effective to use for many characters other than Lyney.
Why you should go for Lyney or Chasca in Genshin Impact Version 5.2
Lyney is a standout Pyro DPS who excels at consistent damage, self-sustain, and utility, making him a valuable addition to any team. His high Mono Pyro damage and powerful Charged Attacks make him accessible for players who may not want to rely on intricate reaction setups.
His taunting cat mechanic, coupled with the ability to deal with strong AoE and single-target damage, ensures he remains effective across various content. However, with the release of Arrlechino, his validity has decreased by a margin. Additionally, Mono Pyro is not the best team comp in terms of endgame content.
The newly released Anemo character Chasca has many potential as seen by her kit. Chasca’s versatility makes her stand out. She’s a one-person reaction machine. With the right teammates, her bullets can trigger a ton of reactions like Vaporize, Melt, or Overload, making her damage potential ridiculous.
But what’s great is that she doesn’t feel locked into one type of team. On top of that, she’s an explorer’s dream. Whether you’re hunting for treasure, completing puzzles, or just enjoying the scenery, Chasca makes it all smoother and more enjoyable.
