GRYPHLINE’s 3D strategy RPGArknights: Endfield, has now launched globally on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices. The title arrives after nearly four years of anticipation, having first been announced in March 2022 and later undergoing a couple of beta tests.

If you’ve played Arknights before, Endfield feels very different. This time, the game is fully 3D and focuses on exploration, real-time combat, and base-building. You control squads of up to four Operators, using their skills and elemental effects together during fast-paced fights.

Arknights: Endfield mixes action combat with factory automation and base-building systems

The story puts you in the role of the Endministrator, a legendary figure who wakes up after ten years to lead Endfield Industries. From an orbital headquarters called the OMV Dijiang, you manage operations on the planet Talos-II.

A major part of the game revolves around the Automated Industrial Complex (AIC). You build production lines, manage power grids, and support your expanding operations across the planet. At the same time, you defend settlements from raider groups and investigate the mystery behind the so-called Zeroth Directive.

This is also the first time Arknights has launched on console and PC, which the developers say was a major step for the team. Instead of following existing RPG trends, they leaned heavily into ideas like factory automation and industrial management, which play a big role in how the game works, as seen in its previous test.

Another thing to note is that the game is free-to-play and supports cross-platform progression, so you can switch between platforms without losing progress. On the technical side, Arknights: Endfield supports up to 120 FPS, along with features like realistic snow effects, puddle reflections, and advanced lighting.

At launch, Arknights: Endfield is giving out a solid batch of free rewards just for playing. By logging in, completing early missions, and leveling up, you can earn multiple Headhunting Permits, Orundum, and other rewards. Not just that, 135 free pulls will wait for you once you enter.

With the game now live, you can download Arknights: Endfield on mobile via the Google Play Store and App Store.
