KEMCO has announced their latest story-driven JRPG, Akuma Rise, which is now open for pre-registration on Android. There is no information available yet regarding iOS pre-order or global launch.
Get ready to uncover Kaine’s forgotten past while enjoying turn-based combat
Akuma Rise is a JRPG set in the demon realm of Adribune. You play as Kaine, a demon who has lost his memories and is searching for fragments of his past with the help of three demon princesses and a mascot called Pink. And, all of this unfolds while you battle to protect a world that is slowly collapsing.
Lore-wise, you wash up on a remote island with no memories, and with the Overlord gone, rival nations are at war while heroes from the Radiant Realm invade to take control of the Shadow Realm. Now, on the gameplay side, you can enjoy classic turn-based battles paired with side-view command system.
I’m sure it’ll be fun equipping and growing magical orbs to learn powerful skills and unlock new abilities. But, I’m mainly looking forward to using each character’s unique POW skills in combat. Overall, the game looks fun at the moment with deep progression, charming companions, JRPG charm, and more.
Akuma Rise is now open for pre-registration on Android, and you can pre-register for the game via the Google Play Store. However, iOS users need to wait as the devs are yet to release pre-orders on App Store. Also, stay tuned for more details on the launch date.
