HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE, a mobile rhythm game developed by Colorful Palette will officially get its global release this year. Published by Sega Corporation SEGA, they had earlier announced that the English version of Project SEKAI COLORFUL STAGE! will hit the global market this year. Before this year, the game was released in Japan and was a blockbuster there. More than five million downloads have been registered by the game until today.
Gameplay Overview
The casual game was initially released for Android and iOS devices on the 30th of September, 2020. It uses the Piapro Studio NT engine and Unity for virtual singers. This mobile rhythm game features some virtual singers such as Hatsune Miku, and her friends Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin and Len, Meiko, and Kaito. It uses a total of 20 actual human characters who feature different music themes as the game’s cast.
The game features a solo play or players can play with their friends as well. There are five levels of difficulty for each song and challenges to face. On completing those, the game’s gacha system will increase players’ levels and unlock additional character cards. Players can also participate in virtual live performances by their favorite bands and earn rewards such as exclusive stamps.

When can players download the game
Players from Taiwan, Hong Kong, or Macau can download the game before it hits globally as the game will be available for them on the 30th of September, 2021 in traditional Chinese. The global release date of Hatsune Miku: COLORFUL STAGE has not been announced yet. However, the game is currently live in open beta for a limited time from October 4th to October 19th letting the players get an early sneak-peek. Players can avail the early access to the game from Google Play and iOS Test Flight for their respective devices.
