The Honkai Impact 3rd team has announced that the action game will be updated to v5.8, Canvas of Stars on June 30. Griseo, the beloved child spoiled by everyone around her, will finally make her debut as one of The Thirteen Flame-Chasers. Furthermore, the new Elysium Everlasting story, and the new Story Chapter Open World, will be released. This will bring new features, a new challenge mode, and a new card event, The Journey of Painting Stars. Everyone will receive rewards and bonuses as usual following the version update.
Furthermore, Captains in Europe and America will be able to experience the world of Honkai Impact on July 3. To put it simply, Honkai Impact 3rd will be at Anime Expo 2022 in Los Angeles, California, from July 1 to 4, with a booth located at #606, South Hall.
Honkai Impact 3rd will also be present at Japan Expo 2022 in Paris, France, from July 14 to 17, with a booth located at B642, Aisle B, Hall 6. The team has planned a plethora of fantastic activities, such as cosplay shows, on-site competitions, and live performances, and invites all visitors to enjoy and share the fun.
Introducing Griseo, the gifted young painter in Honkai Impact 3rd
The gifted young painter, PSY-type SP melee fighter providing Physical support –Griseo – is finally joining Hyperion in the upcoming version 5.8 Canvas of Stars. She is dressed in a white gown that conveys the minimalist design concept while also perfectly highlighting her personality, which is pure and unadorned like a blank piece of paper.
However, if you look closely, you can see some paint stains on her pure-white dress, which makes her image of a child more realistic and vivid. Griseo is a PSY-type SP melee fighter who provides Physical support primarily through the application of the Bleed debuff. Griseo splatters paint across the battlefield, landing various attacks that grant corresponding buffs.
Her ultimate spreads a large piece of canvas and deals one-time AoE DMG to enemies. Players can also transfer Color buffs to the next deployed Valkyrie if she leaves during the time limit. Griseo, as a talented artist, can also paint out Mr. Knight, the gentleman who keeps her safe and supports her whenever she is under attack.
Honkai Impact v5.8 update will feature the New Story Chapter Open World
The new story and the New Story Chapter Open World are also coming in the upcoming update. Peace will be shattered, and perilous air will rise, forcing the Flame-Chasers to react differently. Players will be able to see their memories and gain insight into their current choices in Chapter XXX.
The version update will also include the new featured card event, Journey of Painting Stars. This will provide hours of entertainment for all Captains, especially those who enjoy card games. Throughout the journey, players will be able to collect card partners known as Painting Cards and form a battle lineup.
Players can obtain various card upgrades by completing story battles and shop recruitment, allowing players to continue enhancing the power of their card partners. Battles provide numerous rewards, including Crystals and Material Options. Before the Dawn, Luna Kindred’s new outfit will also be available.
