miHoYo has announced that their action title Honkai Impact 3rd will be updated to v5.0 Inherit the Flame for Android and iOS on August 12th, 2021. Players will also be able to unlock Kiana’s new S-rank battle suit Herrscher of Flamescion, explore the new rogue-like activity Elysian Realm, and have fun in the new high-yielding summer events with Valkyries in this update.
Honkai Impact 3rd is set in a modern world corrupted by mysterious energy known as Honkai. The world is enveloped in endless dark nights which leads to a tenacious resistance of Valkyries. These are the brave girls carrying the anti-Honkai genome, against the spreading Honkai disaster to fight for everything that is beautiful in this world.
What will the players get in this v5.0 update in Honkai Impact 3rd
In the latest animated short Everlasting Flames, Kiana, the protagonist and the first default character of the game, has transformed into Herrscher of Flamescion. Himeko, who was Kiana’s mentor and a true rebel that defied the gods as a mortal, has completed her final lesson. Having inherited her will and blossomed into a true Valkyrie, Kiana obliterates the darkness with the everlasting flames.
The new S-Rank battle suit Herrscher of Flamescion exhibits a ponytail and a fiery cape. But her ocean blue eyes are unmistakably Kiana’s and are also reflections of the queen. Moreover, Herrscher of Flamescion supports aerial combat, allowing Kiana to unleash sword waves in midair. In Herrscher mode, Kiana will draw out a burning great sword that leaves a trail of fire after every swing, creating visual wonders.
The v5.0 update will give a new dimension to the players
The v5.0 update introduces a new rogue-like activity Elysian Realm. Players will get to explore the distinctive backstories of eight Flame-Chasers with them. Every Flame-Chaser will possess unique support skills that will drastically alter how Valkyries fight. Players can interact with their favorite Flame-Chasers and build their original play style. Also, this activity offers tons of Crystals and materials for the players.
Time-limited summer events are also part of the upcoming v5.0 update. Moreover, summer wardrobe essentials will be released in the game after a few days of the launch of this update. Players can purchase Stygian Nymph’s outfit Stygian Seafoam with tokens rewarded by challenge missions. Also, they can pull Herrscher of Sentience’s outfit, Ooh Summer, from a special Outfit Supply. Also, players can claim Divine Prayer’s outfit Sea & Breeze, Valkyrie Gloria, and an event stigma for free by logging in 7 days.
Inherit the Flame update is arriving soon on all platforms
Players can download Honkai Impact 3 from Google Play Store and Apple App Store for Android and iOS devices respectively along with Windows for PC. Honkai Impact 3rd v5.0 Inherit the Flame will be released on August 12th, 2021 for all platforms.
