Honor of Kings: World opens closed beta recruitment in China across PC and mobile

While we global players are waiting to get a taste of Honor of Kings: World, players in China are surely the lucky ones, as a new round of closed beta will kick off for PC and Mobile. The new test phase is now accepting applications, with recruitment running from February 10 to February 23, 2026.

This upcoming test will be confidential, paid, and data-wiping, meaning all progress made during the beta will be reset once it ends. Selected participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement before gaining access as well, so we won’t be getting any new visuals.

The beta will support cross-platform play, including PC, Android, iOS, and cloud gaming as well, a welcome addition. However, there are hardware requirements. Android users will need devices powered by a Snapdragon 865 or better, while iOS players must use an iPhone 11 or newer.

It is no new news that Honor of Kings: World is one of the most anticipated games for a long while. Offering a large-scale open-world action RPG spin-off based on the massively popular Honor of Kings franchise, it has plenty on offer that is making us players wait for a full-fledged launch.

First revealed in 2021, the game blends fast-paced action combat with exploration across expansive environments. You can team up with familiar Honor of Kings heroes, use their signature abilities, and even step away from combat to build homes or pursue other activities.

If you want to participate in the upcoming test, you can sign up here. Again, you need to fulfil the mentioned requirements. No dates for the test have been announced yet, so you will have to wait for the official confirmation from the developer.

Although there is no info about the global launch, it has been confirmed that we are getting a Spring 2026 release, so sometime between March and May 2026 is the timeline. I’m expecting it to be around May, since the CBT phase might carry till early April.
