Magic Chess: Go Go Season 5 introduces new GOGO MOBA and Go Go Plaza modes, a cooking mini-game, synergies, and more

Magic Chess: Go Go is kicking off its new Season 5 on February 10, reimagining the chessboard with two new game modes, GOGO MOBA and Go Go Plaza. Beyond this, the new season also brings MCGG’s first cooking mini-game called the Golden Month Kitchen, free skin, and more.

Magic Chess: Go Go Season 5 update brings the GOGO MOBA mode

So, with the GOGO MOBA mode, MGCC aims to push itself beyond the traditional board by letting you select from multiple commanders in a reworked yet familiar, MOBA-based map. Here, you can freely move around the terrain and use new jump mechanics to leap over walls and obstacles.

Go Go Plaza offers a lively social space in MCGG

Now, for a more laid-back experience, you can look forward to the Go Go Plaza, which acts as a shared hub where you can explore as your favorite commanders. Here, you’ll also get to meet other Chess Masters, use Battle Emotes, take photos, or travel together using team trains.

Golden Month Kitchen introduces MCGG’s first cooking mini-game

Besides them, starting February 17, you can jump into the Golden Month Kitchen as part of the Golden Month Kitchen introduces MCGG’s first cooking mini-game. With this limited-time mini-game, you can gather ingredients and complete the Golden Month menu to unlock  Zilong’s new Special skin for free.

Season 5 also brings new synergies to enhance gameplay experience

Now what’s a new season without some new synergies right? Don’t worry as MCGG is also introducing new synergies to the mix, including Neobeasts, Exorcist, Mystic Meow, and Heartbond. While the previous synergies were already fun to experiment with, I can’t wait to try these new ones.
