Hot Wheels: Rift Rally is a mixed-reality racer set to launch on March 14th for iOS

Racing has a new definition!

Velan Studios, the studio behind the popular Nintendo racing title Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, will be giving the players a new Hot Wheels experience with the upcoming title. Hot Wheels: Rift Rally is all set to see light on March 14th, 2023 for iOS, PS4 and PS5, with an RC Hot Wheel from Mattel allowing players to experience a mixed-reality racing game.

Race anywhere you want with Hot Wheels: Rift Rally

Players would love to have a game where they can get a mix of the virtual world clubbed with reality so that they can capture the essence of any game. Well, the new racer aims for this just fine. Hot Wheels: Rift Rally will allow players to create their home into a competitive race track, allowing players to race in a real-world arena, with a more competitive spirit!

It comes as a package, where players have to install the physical rift gates to create a passage. It’ll create a virtual driveway, a map that players can follow for their race in the Campaign Mode. Controlling the Radio Controlled (RC) Car will be done through your device. Drive through those gates and beat your opponent. However, players can also play the other modes such as Stunt Mode, Puzzle games, Solo, and PS exclusive Co-op modes.

The RC will also have options for a look tweak, with options of customization allowing 22 different virtual vehicles with over 140 variants. This allows the player to customize his car to his liking. Settings are also given that allow players to change the real-life preferences of their RC such as speed, acceleration, and so on.

Players can pre-order now on their official website

The software is free for all devices and will be available to download on the App Store on iOS devices and PlayStation Store for PS4 and PS5. For Android devices, the update is not given so we shall have to wait and see. The physical part of the game is not free, as players will have to buy them separately.
