Supercell is rolling out changes to its ID system; players can now choose their unique name. This is a big change in the system since its first introduction in December 2022. This new unique name you’ll choose will be permanent and cannot be changed anymore.
Why Supercell is making this change
Until today, the Supercell ID (also known as SCID) was not unique and could be used by many players. However, after today’s change, it will be unique to a player and every single player with a Supercell ID will have a different name. This change has been implemented to create a unique identity for every single player.
Supercell has stated, “We are making Supercell ID names unique and will soon be using them as Player IDs in our games”.
How to make your unique Supercell ID name

- Open the official Supercell ID site
- Login using your existing Supercell ID if you have one, if not, create your new ID
