HoYoverse releases a new Genshin Impact Player Story Documentary to celebrate its second anniversary

Join Genshin Impact on an Endless Journey and relive shared memories with players!

HoYoverse, a global interactive entertainment brand, has released a new Genshin Impact Player Story Documentary to commemorate memorable moments with fans and players over the last two years. The 5-minute video takes viewers on a journey through memorable encounters both inside and outside of the game, using a mix of player stories and event footage.

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play, open-world adventure RPG with cross-progression support available on PlayStation 4, PC, Android, and iOS. Many Travelers have traversed the massive landscapes of four of the seven nations since the introduction of Inazuma and Sumeru, building a deeper connection to the fantasy world of Teyvat and the characters who inhabit it through thrilling adventures and touching stories. Meanwhile, global online and offline events were held, bringing together players from all over the world.

In less than a month, over 150,000 unforgettable Genshin Impact stories were shared on HoYoLAB, HoYoverse’s gaming community forum, for the Endless Journey Player Stories Submission Event. Among the many player stories gathered over the last two years, some have been adapted and featured in the most recent documentary while others have been featured in landmark locations and outdoor banners across multiple regions and languages.

In addition, the documentary recalls a series of offline events from previous years to honor the in-person connections with fans and players. Illuminated in-game Teleport Waypoints can also be found at the top of the Alps, on busy streets and shopping malls, and in various locations around the world.

More thrilling moments were shared at the Han River Festival and other exhibitions. To honor the friendships and bonds formed with the Genshin Impact community, Genshin Impact will continue to meet fans and players from all over the world through unique events.

Genshin Impact, which was first released in September 2020, will enter its third year with fans and players from all over the world. And therefore, will continue to deliver memorable adventures both inside and outside the game.
