Today, HoYoverse released a new teaser website for their new shooter game, Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ), raising the expectations from developers to an all-time high in the community.

Over the past few months, gaming enthusiasts spotted a new Twitter account in the name of ZZZ by developer HoYoverse. This was also on several online platforms, including Weibo, WeChat, and Bilibili. Today, HoYoverse officially made the announcement on its Twitter handle.
The Twitter post redirects to a website where the teaser video is located. Interestingly, the video starts with a TV announcement talking about a Sub-Hallow appearing in the city where the game takes place. Furthermore, it says that the public security has a level-2 control zone and is currently involved in evacuating the residents. The sub-hallow referred to in the TV announcement is a dark black hole in the middle of the city.
Gaming enthusiasts tracked down the game on December 21, 2021, and said that the game is going to be an ACGN (Anime Comic Game Novel) shooter which will have players fighting with deadly high-tech weapons. They also said that ZZZ will be an entirely new concept but similar to existing HoYoverse games in some aspects.
