Arknights: Endfield has been in development for some time now, and hasn’t updated anything of substance lately. However, an article has reported that Hypergryph’s 3D real-time RPG is rumored to officially launch in mid-2025, which is exciting news for fans eagerly awaiting Arknights: Endfield.
Arknights: Endfield might see a China launch before hitting worldwide
An article published in the Chinese WeChat forum discussed Gu Yu, a former deputy general manager at Tencent NExT Studios, who was joining Hypergryph Networks as a senior technical executive. With over 20 years of experience, Gu Yu’s expertise is expected to help Hypergryph overcome its current production challenges, especially in 3D technology for Arknights: Endfield.

However, amidst this, what caught my attention was the plans for release mentioned in the same article. An insider at Hypergryph Network is rumored to have informed Gu Yu that Hypergryph intends to launch Arknights: Endfield around mid-2025. Again, I suggest you take this information with a grain of salt, as these are just rumors and not official announcements.
Another notable point to see was that the project is experiencing some pressure regarding its progress. There must be some truth in it as it has been close to three years since the game was announced, and apart from the testing in China, that too on the PC platform, there wasn’t much for the global players on mobile.
Arknights: Endfield is currently developing for both PC and mobile platforms. It is set in the universe of the popular mobile tower defense RPG, Arknights, and its related anime series, Arknights: Perish in Frost.
Although the release is not official yet and could potentially be for PC only, it seems likely that the game will launch in China first before going global. I hope there is an official announcement instead of rumors and hot takes.
