Indus Battle Royale crosses 10 million Android pre-registrations; Announces 200k key giveaway

SuperGaming is expanding the Indus beta programme to accommodate more players

SuperGaming, the foremost game developer in India, announces that its forthcoming Indo-Futuristic battle royale game, Indus, garners more than 10 million pre-registrations through Google Play for Android devices. This achievement comes after the company’s closed beta program in February, where Android users had the opportunity to experience the game firsthand.

SuperGaming celebrates 10 million pre-registrations for Indus with exciting rewards

To mark this significant achievement, SuperGaming is expanding its beta program by distributing 200,000 beta keys. Alongside this expansion, fresh rewards such as distinctive skins, charms, and additional items will be introduced. Players have the opportunity to explore Virlok, the map within Indus, and immerse themselves in the gaming action using their devices.

The Indus Battle Royale Beta offers a comprehensive battle royale experience, incorporating various new features that have been refined through past Indus Community Playtests, the Indus Esports Invitational, and the recently concluded Indus Unchained Esports Tournament.

To acquire Indus Beta keys, individuals need to register on the official Indus Beta key website, indusbeta.com, and join the waiting list. Once they obtain an Indus Beta key, they must redeem it on the same website. Upon doing so, players will receive unique exclusive cosmetic items, solidifying their position as early supporters of the game. These items will not be accessible during the game’s launch phase.

SuperGaming’s Indus engine boosts gameplay on budget Android phones

Powered by the Indus Engine, SuperGaming’s proprietary technology stack, Indus presently achieves frame rates exceeding 40fps on low-end Android devices from 2022 equipped with 4GB RAM, albeit with certain visual elements like environments and shadows toned down according to internal evaluations. In internal testing, 2023 Android flagships hit 60fps with all visual aspects pushed to their maximum settings.

This performance level renders Indus playable on smartphones retailing at approximately Rs. 8,000 (about $100), ensuring broad accessibility for gamers globally and creating a sizable market for its widespread adoption. SuperGaming remains committed to refining Indus for enhanced compatibility with additional low-end devices, aiming to accommodate most smartphones purchased from 2020 onwards with satisfactory frame rates.

Indus is now available for pre-registration on Google Play for Android.
