Indus: The Indo-Futuristic Battle Royale will be playable in Fortnite Creator mode

Indus, a battle royale game made in India, will be playable in Fortnite. The gameplay, terrain, modes, and other aspects of Indus will be accessible to gamers on PC and macOS through Fortnite, as revealed during the India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) in Hyderabad in 2023. This was created in around 27 days by a two-woman team at SuperGaming utilizing Epic Games‘ Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).

Indus in Fortnite will be a separate experience for PC and macOS in Fortnite Creator Mode

While Indus in Fortnite is a separate experience for PC and macOS in Fortnite Creator Mode, with a release date that will be announced soon, it is scheduled to launch on mobile devices alongside the Closed Beta this holiday season. Indus’ environments have been added to Fortnite, along with its Cosmium-focused win condition, which lets players win by seizing this special resource that appears on the map.

We learned, built, and created Indus with UEFN in about 27 days with no prior Unreal experience, This will allow us to test Indus’ gameplay with external audiences faster and give more gamers a chance to experience Indo-Futurism through their game of choice — Fortnite.

At SuperGaming we firmly believe that India’s culture and talent demand the biggest possible stage for the world to see and play in,” says Roby John, CEO and co-founder at SuperGaming. “With Fortnite having an estimated 220 million monthly players globally, there’s no better way to bring Indus and Indo-Futurism to the world,” he added.

Gamers can voice their opinions about several parts of the game and influence how SuperGaming develops its most ambitious project to date. This is consistent with how SuperGaming developed MaskGun and Silly Royale, two of its biggest blockbusters.

With a constant focus on putting its users first, the well-known online shooter MaskGun has amassed over 80 million players since its introduction. As a result, some of its largest community members have been featured in-game and have helped celebrate Indian holidays like Diwali.
