Ironhide Game Studio has announced their latest fantasy tower defense strategy title, Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis, which is set to launch soon on Android, iOS, and PC. This latest entry to the beloved Kingdom Rush series promises the classic tower defense experience fans have been waiting for.
Get ready to return to the Kingdom’s origins and rewrite history
So fans of the beloved tower defense saga are in for a treat, as the devs decided to surprise us with the sudden reveal of the next chapter, Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis. This time, we’re heading back to the early days of the Kingdom, but obviously with some interesting twists to make it all the more fun.
I love how nostalgia-heavy this one is, and honestly, the idea of rewriting history and stopping young Vez’nan before darkness takes over sounds cool. And as someone who has spent solid hours in the original Kingdom Rush lands, I can’t wait to recruit familiar faces, revisit iconic battlefields, and tackle those relentless enemy waves.
You can experiment with upgradeable characters, battle across 19 stages, and more
You can look forward to experiment with 15 Towers, 12 Heroes, and 9 Spells, with each now having their own upgrades thanks to a revamped Upgrade System. I’m sure it’ll be fun to use them across the 19 Campaign stages packed with unique challenging enemy hordes and stage mechanics.
Overall, I see a lot of potential from this one with its 27 upgradeable characters, game modes, 50+ Achievements, 40+ different enemies across 5 enemy races and 6 colossal boss fights, Easter eggs, lighthearted humor, and more. Now, I just hope the launch is near as I can’t wait to explore the 3 diverse landscapes across Linirea and alter the past.
Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis is launching soon on Android, iOS, and PC. That said, it is yet to be listed on the app stores, but you can wishlist via Steam. Stay tuned for more updates regarding pre-registrations and exact launch date.
