Introducing the Basics of Drift Legends 2 Car Racing

Drift Legends 2 Car Racing, is a drift race game with more focus on the drift aspect of the car world. Like in other racing games like the Gran Turismo series, there are certain events in the game that progressively get harder for the player to win.

These events where the player may participate will need certain types of cars to be eligible. This means that even though you might have an ultra-favorite car, you would not be able to complete the game without trying other cars and playing them in events specific to those types and classes of cars.

The game is pretty simple, Just like in other drift games, there is a scoreboard that increases when you drift and there is a target score for the players to hit in a certain amount of time and/or number of laps. The faster you are and the more sideways the car goes the more it adds to the drift points.

Additionally, there is a multiplier that when you do a continuous drift will continue to add up to 5x which will really help as by keeping this meeting the score needed to win would take just a few seconds. However, players must still be careful as being over-eager and hitting the walls while drifting will cause you to instantly lose 1x in the drift point multiplier and 100 drift points.

List of Car Types and Classes in Drift Legends 2 Car Racing

In this game there are numerous car types and classes that differ from one another by performance, price, and most importantly, in Events they can participate in. In this Drift Legends 2 Car Racing Beginners Guide we will be looking into the most important classes to know in the game.

  • Era – Era means which time the car was released, either in the 70s 80s, etc. The starter car for the game is an 80s car.
  • Origin – This means where the car came from, the majority of the cars came from Japan but there are also German, US, and Italian cars in the game.
  • Engine – The difference in engines is also important, the majority of the beginner cars are an L4 or inline 4 car while there are inline 6, v6, v8, and even rotary and boxer engines in the game.
  • Aspiration – Aspiration means whether the car is naturally aspirated, with a turbo, or even with a supercharger.
  • Drivetrain – This is whether the car has its engine on the front and rear wheel drive or runs on all four wheels or maybe a mid-mounted engine with rear-wheel drive.

Currency and Resource Management

There are only two types of currency available in Drift Legends 2 Car racing. The first currency would be credits which are basically the same as for games like Gran Turismo and such. Next is a currency all too common for mobile games which is real-world cash.

  • Credits – This currency is the only actual currency available in the game. It is as universal as any universal in-game currency gets. This means that any regular transactions in the game will make use of this currency. Examples are upgrading, buying cars, and so on and so forth.
  • Real-world Cash – That is right the game does not have a specific pay-to-win currency available in the game, instead they straight up use cold real-world cash to buy pay-to-win items in the game. The players may opt to use cash to buy credits, remove ads, and best of all buy bundles like legendary car bundles with the most overpowered vehicles.

Although with this currency system, it may look like the game is a bit pay-to-win at certain points, with the better cars being locked behind a paywall. It is still important to note that it is not the fastest car that wins in this game but the more skilled driver in performing drifts along the turns of the circuit.

Drift Legends 2 Car Racing Beginners Guide: Tips and Tricks

Here are tips and tricks that beginners may find useful, especially in starting the game.

1. Buy a huge assortment of Cars

Buying a huge assortment of cars, not just one type will help you progress faster in the game. This is because the game has event mechanics where the players will choose which races to attend on. However, every event has a theme in which classes may only participate as discussed above. So it would almost be impossible to progress through the game with only one type of car.

2. Use the Accelerator to Turn

This is a trick that works even in real life. In order to gain better control of your drift. Too much acceleration will make your car drift sideways and less will make the car more grippy in the ground. Try to experiment on every turn with your accelerator work to have a feel for turning with it.

3. Rerace is your friend

If you ever need more money or credits for upgrades, then replaying race events is a must. Playing events you have already played would be beneficial as these events would still give out credits to the player allowing for easier buying of new cars and upgrading existing ones.

Final Thoughts

The game is a very fun and refreshing take on the mobile racing scene as this is giving merit more skills than speed-wise. Although the game may be pay-to-win, it is still very enjoyable to play as a free-to-play player with very interesting cars with real-life counterparts.

That would be all for this Drift Legends 2 Car Racing Beginners guide thank you for reading and we hope that you learned everything you need to know to start playing the game.
