The Season 3 mid-season update for the casual kart racing video game KartRider: Drift has been released by Nexon and Nitro Studios. The update adds new tracks, balancing adjustments, and other quality-of-life enhancements to the KartRider: Drift gameplay.
Nexon is adding two new tracks to the Catch Me If You Can update in KartRider Drift
The Catch Me If You Can update will include two new tracks – Forest: Misty Falls and WKC: Mexico Touring Rally, and Nexon has promised to do so once a month starting with this update.
In addition to the new tracks, Nexon is delighted to announce a number of other improvements to the game:
- A new system, Momentum, has been introduced, granting players in-game rewards as they level up
- Rewards are granted to Racers based on their Racer Level, earned by racing in-game. Level Rewards are granted when your Momentum Level gets high enough, up to Lv. 500.
- Players are now able to use emojis during the post-race awards ceremony, allowing them to really revel in their victory
- A new Quick Chat Favorites feature makes it far easier to communicate with other players
The ongoing challenge in Flag Mode has been made easier as a result of the team’s constant attention to user input. Instead of 2 minutes, players now have 2.5 minutes to win 5 races in Flag Mode. Also, Nexon is giving out unique prizes to mark the start of Season 3! Players will have to follow the steps on this event page by 14:59 UTC on August 31, 2023, to earn your own Spyder kart and 10,000 Lucci prize.
