King of Wonders is a brand new post-apocalyptic strategy title that has announced a new round of Closed Beta Testing for Android in select regions including the United States and Germany. The CBT has kicked off on March 12, 2024, and the end date hasn’t been announced yet.
King of Wonders brings an engaging plot with a mix of strategy
Well, I thought the title was pretty interesting and thought it would be a more action-oriented title, but this ended up being another strategy title. King of Wonders is set in a post-apocalyptic world where landmarks birth avatars and cultures collide. Yes, the same old trope of battles but the game is a bit different from what I expected.
We get to enter a vibrant world in this game filled with immortal cranes, powerful dragons, and innovative steam airships, all competing for control. The start of the game will give you the story you need with the graphics and paints a good picture with some top-notch cutscenes. As you embark on your journey, you will have to select your legacy and explore expansive sandbox maps to shape the destiny of your civilization.
Since this is a strategy title, adapting your tactics becomes a must, which changes from various city layouts, mountainous terrains, and coastal regions. You will be relying on your strength and wisdom to succeed in 3D battles. Wise words for this game would be to deploy troops strategically, plan their movements wisely, and maintain positions to ensure victory.
As mentioned earlier, King of Wonders closed beta test is underway at the time of writing for players in the US and Germany. However, this test is exclusive to Android devices and available for download via the Google Play Store. Details regarding an iOS closed beta test or a global release have not been announced yet, so stay tuned for further updates.
