Popular South Korean developer Action Square is working on a new mobile game based on the hit South Korean Netflix original horror series Kingdom. The upcoming game will be an action-based title and you’ll see the leading cast of Kingdom in the game.
After a successful airing on Netflix in January 2019, Kingdom has become one of the most viewed shows on the streaming network. There are quite a number of commendable series out there that tell the story of a zombie apocalyptic state, province, or nation. But Kingdom offers more thrill, a completely different approach, combined with interesting characters.
About the Kingdom mobile game
On the 1st of September, Action Square developers announced that it has signed a game development contract with the series production industry, using the Kingdom IP.
Conversely, Action Square plans on developing the game as a high-quality zombified action game that not only uses the kingdom environmental setting but also reproduces the series original characters as well, using the Kingdom IP.
They also plan on utilizing the game’s know-how development that was accumulated through the blade series, just like the Three kingdoms blade.
Kingdom is an excellent IP specialising in action game genre. We will develop and present it.

Lee Sang-Baek, A Story CEO included, “We are pleased to make a brand new attempt at expanding the Kingdom IP to a whole new level in collaboration with Action Square.” He also said that Action Square has a great track record regarding mobile game launches and they have high expectations regarding the upcoming mobile game based on the Kindom series.
When will the Kingdom game release
At the moment, there is no release date for the Kingdom action game coming to mobile devices. However, the game is already in the works. So keep checking out this space for updated info on the games’ release date!
