KRAFTON India, renowned for the popular battle royale title BGMI, has announced an expansion of their KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator Program. Launched in October 2023, this initiative is designed to nurture talented Indian game developers by providing mentorship, financial support, and essential resources. As the first cohort progresses, KRAFTON is welcoming additional applications to join this innovative program.
Boosting India’s Game Development Ecosystem with KRAFTON’s Incubator Program
The KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator Program offers substantial financial aid, ranging from $50,000 to $150,000, to cover early development costs. This allows teams to concentrate on crafting and refining their games without financial distractions. Exceptional teams might receive up to $250,000 in support, depending on their project’s specific needs.

Participants in the program also gain access to AppMagic, a comprehensive toolkit for mobile app market research. Additionally, selected startups in the program’s first cohort receive valuable cloud credits to support their development efforts further.
Mentorship from Industry Veterans
The success of the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator Program is also bolstered by its roster of experienced mentors. The first cohort benefits from the insights of industry veterans such as Harns Kim, a game producer with extensive knowledge of the global and Indian gaming landscapes; Dave Curd, VP and Creative Director at PUBG Studios with a rich background in major gaming franchises; and Joseph Park, a seasoned product head and game designer involved in well-known titles like Battlefield Online.
We see immense potential for game developers in India, and our goal is to grow the ecosystem by inviting more applications to join KIGI. We are excited to onboard more talented teams. By offering financial support, mentorship, and access to cutting-edge tools like AppMagic, we aim to boost Indiaās game development ecosystem. Our goal is to see these startups thrive and contribute innovative games to the global gaming community
Anuj Sahani, Head of KRAFTON India Incubator Program
