Everything coming to Limbus Company Season 7 ‘Kumo no Ito · otI on akA’ and Chapter 9

Limbus Company is a single-player turn-based RPG developed by Project Moon. It launched on February 27th, 2023, and is now on the path to release its newest Chapter 9 and new Season 7. Here I will drop down all the new and exciting things that are gonna be released on Limbus Company Season 7 ‘Kumo no Ito · otI on akA‘ on December 31st 2025.

From the creators of Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina, another tale set in the same, unique world unfolds. In this massive dystopian metropolis, you will embark on a journey to find Golden Boughs with a cast of 12 Sinners. Enjoy a gripping story and the series of events that await.

Limbus Company Chapter 9 details

Fans of the game who have been wondering whose story we will be entering, well, look no further, this time it’s our Ryoshu’s turn. Her story is going be based on the book, Hell Screen, while her both in-game and book name is Yoshihide.

It’s all but confirmed that we will be seeing some masterful art and also a high kill count on her, thanks to her teaser and hostility towards those who did her wrong.

In case you are wondering the release schedule of the story, here it is:

• Chapter 9 Part 1 will release on 31st December 2025
• Chapter 9 Part 2 will release on 8th January 2026
• Chapter 9 Part 3 will release on 15th January 2025

Limbus Company Season 7 details

With a new chapter comes a new battlepass. This time we are getting new ZAYIN Ego for Outis, TETH Ego for Heathcliff, and new WAW EGOs for Ryoshu and Yi Sang, and also the announcer is Ryoshu for this season’s reward.

Apart from that, we have our usual Shard Crates, Level-up/Level Boost Tickets, Threads, Extract Tickets, Lunacy, ID Uptie 4 Module, and numerous Enkephalin modules.

I do want to mention, not everything will be unlocked directly from the get-go on the battlepass, as its max level rewards are gonna be locked from Level 41, it will unlock for good when Part 3 of Chapter 9 releases (15th Jan 2026). So take your time to enjoy the story and dungeon clearing till then.

The New IDs in the new season

The new sinner IDs this season are for Outis and Faust.

Faust is getting the Index Proselyte ID (rank Paper Slip), it’s a Sinking ID. So the players who are going to be building sinking teams are going be happy to get a new sinking ID after the last season’s Rupture-focused IDs. Her passive seems to be boosting Offense for the team while lowering the defense down for enemies.

Outis is getting the LCA Udjat Vanguard Team 3 Leader ID. This one is also a Sinking ID. Let’s hope it’s not going be a sinking-focused season, but until the update releases, we can’t be sure. Her passive focuses on giving a small shield at the turn start and giving SP buffs to allies and SP debuffs to enemies.

Changes in Limbus Company with this update

Now, on the more technical side of things, Limbus Company Season 6 IDs and Egos will be locked till the next season arrives. On the other hand, Season 5 IDs and Egos will be unlocked. So have fun building a solid Bleed team with the bloodfiend IDs. Our sinner level caps are also getting higher, from 55 to 60.

The new mirror dungeon #7 is still being worked on, so we don’t have any idea what or when it’s going to be ready, but rest assured, it will be very soon. So rogue mirror dungeon fans, don’t be worried for long, as I expect it will drop right after part 3 of the story patch. Don’t forget to claim your current dungeon bonuses before it goes away forever.

If you have any ego shards and threads or Ego Crates, use them now, or else they will get halved when the next Limbus Company season arrives. If you don’t have enough to buy anything, just invest in your current IDs.
