Manchester City Football Club has announced a deal with mobile game developers Capstone Games for City’s own football game, the club’s official website confirmed. With that, Capstone Games becomes City’s official casual gaming partners in the Asia Pacific, North America & United Kingdom.

Man City management sounded very optimistic about the deal. They think it is an important step for the club forward in the gaming industry, after having two professional e-sports teams for FIFA in China and South Korea.

Capstone Games’ previous projects
Capstone Games are mobile game publishers based in Cincinnati, US. They have previous expertise in managerial mode football games. They have been using cutting edge technology to develop their mobile games. Their first football game was āChampions Manager Mobasaka‘ launched in 2018, which has over 1 Million downloads in the Google Play Store. Capstone launched this game after their partnership with another famous football club FC Barcelona. They have also partnered with Juventus and published a Juve themed football game called ‘Ultimate Football Club‘ earlier this year.

Capstone Games will develop a Manchester City-themed game of the managerial genre, features official Man City players, kits and the Etihad Stadium. The players will get to test their managerial skills in different competitions, gameplay and conditions. Also, the games will be simulation-type.
When will the game release?
We have no official date for the release, but City’s official site confirmed the game will release in 2020. Players will be able to download it from Google Play Store (for Android) as well as Apple App Store (for iOs).
