A July update named Black Heaven Quest for MapleStory M, the mobile MMORPG spin-off based on the original MapleStory, adds new story content, a new endgame boss, and a new fifth profession ability. After the maintenance window on July 6, the update is now available.
MapleStory M, launched globally on July 24, 2018, brings the nostalgic world of side-scrolling MMORPG MapleStory to mobile, offering the same endless amount of customization, immersive storylines, and epic boss raids that fans have come to expect from the legendary franchise.
Clearing episodes in Maplestory M will reward players with EXP
The new endgame boss, Lotus, who can be encountered once one of the players’ characters completes all of the Black Heaven episodes, requires a character level of 200. Players who have finished the V Matrix and have 200 character levels can only acquire the new fifth job talent.
Both each job and each class level will receive a special skill. Another set of updates will be released for MapleStory M later in the summer. There will soon be a new playable job and a fourth-anniversary party.
This month also marks Pink Bean’s birthday! From July 11 to July 22, MapleStory M will be celebrating on Discord with a unique competition. With the Summer Update Part 2 that will be released later in July, MapleStory M will keep up the momentum and up the ante with a new playable class and 4th Anniversary Event content.
