In the next upcoming update of Mario Kart Tour, players can expect to see the long-awaited Battle Mode along with some other features modified and changed. The next update is scheduled to be on October 4th and the developers have already confirmed that they will be adding the much-anticipated battle mode in Mario Kart Tour.
The two introductory courses for Battle Mode include GBA Battle Course 1 and GCN Cookie Land with a new tour starting on October 4th at 11 am PT/ October 5th at 8 am CET.
What players can expect in the next update of Mario Kart Tour
Alongside the introduction of the Battle Mode in Mario Kart Tour, there are other features that players can expect to see in the upcoming update. Battles will be coming in both single-player and multiplayer modes. Players can expect to get a swanky new green racing suit for the custom Mii characters in Mario Kart Tour.
Mario Kart Tour will also come with a new Spotlight Shop which is a new way to enjoy the game’s many customizable options. The single-player and multiplayer battles will have balloons attached to the player’s kart and the goal is to pop up three balloons over another player or NPC’s head. The team or player who is left with balloons shall be crowned as the winner.
Adding to these, there will be multiplayer Standard Races and Gold Races with the removal of Gold races only being available to Gold Pass Subscribers.
