The mobile game sensation, Merge Mansion, which has been captivating the Internet, has once again achieved a notable feat. Following the inclusion of the renowned Kathy Bates in the role of the notorious Grandma Ursula, the game has now showcased actor Pedro Pascal (known for his role in The Last of Us) as Detective Tim Rockford in a new digital short titled Shoes Off, Please.
In this fresh digital segment, viewers can witness Pedro Pascal’s exploration of concealed passages, Ashley Benson (renowned for her role in Pretty Little Liars) uncovering hidden clues, and Jesse Williams (known for his appearances in Grey’s Anatomy and Only Murders in the Building) attempting to reveal Grandma’s undisclosed secrets.

The immersive experience, which combined live-action theater, an escape room, and a lore museum, took place at the Legendary Paramour Estate in Los Angeles. Metacore hosted the event to celebrate the recent launch of Merge Mansion’s significant update, which introduced the Boulton Family Mansion.
Attendees had the unique opportunity to fully engage in the Merge Mansion storyline by entering a real-life version of the Boulton family mansion. Their mission was to uncover clues, solve puzzles, and collaborate to uncover the secrets hidden by Grandma Ursula.
The campaign began with three films in March 2023, titled A Twisted Game, Think Like a Grandma, and A Recipe to Die For, featuring Pedro Pascal as Tim Rockford. These initial films generated nearly 37 million views. The creative concept for the campaign was a collaboration between Metacore and Reaktor Creative, a studio within the globally recognized tech consultancy, Reaktor.
