The upcoming new hero, Lukas has finally been released on the MLBB Advanced Server with the latest Patch Update. The release would imply he will be the 127th Hero in Mobile Legends. This new hero is very unique and he is capable of morphing into a beast with even more powerful abilities. He’s like a buffed Wolf-form Roger but even better. Mobile Legends Lukas: Hero Overview
The new upcoming hero, Lukas is a new Fighter role hero with a powerful skillset that allows him to perform strong combos to burst down enemies on the battlefield. Truly mastering each ability whilst prioritizing the Beast form, would surely make one excel outstandingly on the battlefield. We will break down Lukas’ skillset info as observed from the Advanced Server.
Abilities
Passive: Hero’s Resolve
Lukas gains 1 Resolve per second and an additional 2 Resolve when dealing damage to heroes. Lukas consumes 10 Resolve per second while in Sacred Beast form.
First Skill : Flash Combo
- CD: 5.5s
- AOE (CC Skill)
- Passive: Lukas can enhance Flash Combo with his Basic Attacks up to 2 times, lasting 4s.
- Active: Lukas consumes all Vigor to unleash Pulverize, dealing 300-600 (+120% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage, plus additional attacks depending on the Vigor consumed (recovers HP equal to 8% of Max HP when hitting a hero.
- 1 Stack: Lukas briefly stuns the target and spins his tonfa hammers to deal 100-200 (+50% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage 3 times, pulling the enemy toward him.
- 2 Stacks: Lukas briefly stuns the target and follows up with 2 attacks that deal 50-100 (+20% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage per hit. He will then spin his tonfa hammers to deal 100 (+80% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage 3 times (cannot be interrupted).
Second Skill: Flash Step
- CD: 12/11.2/10.4/9.6/8.8/8s
- Mobility Skill (Buff)
- Lukas dashes in the target direction and turns his next Basic Attack within 4s into Flash Strike.
- Flash Strike: Lukas blinks behind the enemy, dealing 60-120 (+125% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage. He then increases his Attack Range, gains 20% Movement Speed and 20% Attack Speed, and summons Lightning storms with Basic Attacks to deal extra Physical damage, lasting for 4 seconds.
Third Skill – Unleash the Beast
- Morph, Buff Skill: Lukas transforms into his sacred Beast form. While in this state, his base Movement Speed is increased by 30, all attributes are increased by 15%-20%, and his skills gain new effects. Pulverize unleashes a Tail swing, Flash Step’s dish distance is increased, and Flash Combo pounces on the target instead of blinking behind them.
- Use Again: Lukas in Sacred Beast form fires a Shockwave Blast in the target direction that will explore upon hitting an enemy hero or reaching its maximum range, dealing 300 (+100% Total Physical Attack ) Physical Damage and causing 3 aftershocks that each deal 80 (+25% Total Physical Attack ) Physical Damage.
- Beast Form ultimate ability – Shockwave Blast: The Sacred Beast fires a Shockwave Blast in the target direction that will explode upon hitting an enemy hero or reaching its maximum range, dealing 300-500 (+100% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage and causing 3 aftershocks that each deal 80-160 (+25% Total Physical Attack ) Physical Damage.
Mobile Legends Lukas: Skill Analysis and Hero Overview
Judging from his skills, Lukas is a strong Close-range Fighter who uses combos to overwhelm enemy heroes. With low cooldowns and a beastly ultimate, Lukas can effectively burst down multiple enemies on the battlefield. With this knowledge, let’s analyze the new hero Lukas’s skills.
Judging from Lukas’ Passive ability info, one can conclude that to activate his Beast form abilities easily, one has to constantly engage and be in action to easily stack up Resolve. In short, this makes it easier for Lukas to morph and engage enemies on the battlefield, giving him an edge during the laning phase.
Analyzing his main skills, one would realize that Lukas’ first skin is his main damage source, it is very powerful and if well-utilized doesn’t even have a cooldown. Continually fighting whilst using Lukas’ first skill would allow him to easily spam each stack phase of the first skill. This skill is even more powerful whenever Lukas morphs into the beast.
The quick mobility and attack buff from Lukas second skill, make it easier to easily damage enemies’ low-mobility heroes. Coupled with the enhanced skill effects and attributes from Lukas’ Beast form, Lukas is an annoying fighter role hero to face.
How could Lukas hold up against the current meta
On analyzing Lukas abilities, one would note that he’s a very powerful fighter capable of dealing lots of burst damage within a short period. Even in his normal state, he’s a threat, morphing into the Beast form makes things even more difficult for enemies.
Nonetheless, he’s a combo-dependent hero who just might be able to surprise enemies with a different unique damage skill set each time they clash. In short, he will just be another hero shoved into the ban section as soon as he is released.
When will Lukas be released in Mobile Legends Original server
Lukas’ hero concept is live and currently being tested in the advanced server. Recently MOONTON Games have confirmed Lukas will be making his global debut in the Land Of Dawn on 21st December 2024, along with the Peerless Light Patch which is set to be the final update of this year.
