With the end of August slowly closing in, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has taken to their official YouTube channel, this time with another episode of Inside Mobile Legends, to give players a preview of the upcoming Patch 1.6.10 Update. Set to release on the main server on the 24th of August, 2021, Patch 1.6.10 update brings along lots of new features, optimizations, and many more that players should keep an eye out for. In this article, we will be taking a look at all the new content which has been announced so far, as a part of the Patch 1.6.10 update.
New Hero: Aulus
To start the list, Aulus, the Warrior of Ferocity, will finally be making his long-awaited release to the game along with the Patch 1.6.10 update on the 24th of August, 2021. Having been on the Advanced Server for quite a long time already, the release of the new Fighter, Aulus, will be the 108th hero of Mobile Legends.

Being a Fighter, Aulus’ skills mainly revolve around increasing the attack damage as he progresses in the game. This makes him an extremely strong teammate in the late-game phase. Aulus’ skills are rather straightforward to master. Mobile Legends does mention that he is “highly recommended for new players” of the game.
Revamped Hero: Kimmy
Next up, Kimmy, the Jetpack Rebel, will be receiving some optimizations with the Mobile Legends Patch 1.6.10 Update. Direction indicators have now been added to both Kimmy’s basic and enhanced basic attacks, helping players to lock down targets easier.

The visuals of Kimmy’s basic attacks have also been adjusted, making it look closer to the actual movement when in use. Moonton has also fixed the size of Kimmy’s Energy Blast, which will further increase her hit rate on enemy targets.
Brand-new Mythic Battlefield
To improve the overall gameplay experience of players on the battlefield, rules from traditional sports have been borrowed by Mobile Legends, curving the difficulty level of the battlefield according to the rank of a player. As such, a brand-new Mythic battlefield has been introduced, with the stats of turrets, creeps, and minions being a bit different from those of the usual battlefield. The following changes are as follows:
- If the outer turret energy shield of gold lane is still active, the damage reduction for nearby allies will be increased from the original 15%, to 25%.
- The health of the turret, measured in Hit Points (HP), will also be increased from 5500 to 6000.
- For an added boost to the battlefield, network packets have been optimized. This has reduced stutters while players are present in-game.
The highest rank of the players in a room will decide the rank of the game. While in a Custom room, players can select the “Unlock Mythic Battlefield” option to experience the new features of the Mythic battlefield.
