Mobile Legends Patch 1.7.80 Update: Hero Adjustments, Battlefield Adjustments and more

New changes in the Advanced Server!

Since the last update, the developers at MOONTON Games changed the Talents in the game based on their intensity, instead of completely revamping them. With the Patch 1.7.80 Update, developers are testing keeping the effects of the old Emblems in Mobile Legends. The intro videos for Battle Setups and Revamped Emblems have been optimized. Players will have the option to watch them again after the update and earn rewards. Let us break down the Patch 1.7.80 Update in detail.

Mobile Legends Patch 1.7.80 Update: Hero Adjustments

Valentina (Buffed)

Developers have buffed the cooldown ratio of Valentina’s Ultimate.

Ultimate (↑)

Cooldown Ratio: 130%-100% >> 120%-100%

Novaria (Buffed)

Developers are slightly increasing Novaria’s damage in the early and mid-game.

Passive (↑)

Astral Sphere’s Explosion Base Damage: 240-440 >> 275-450

Ultimate (↑)

Mana Cost: 150-300 >> 150-0

Ixia (Nerfed)

Developers are slightly reducing lxia‘s range and early to mid-game damage.

Passive (↓)

Base Damage: 40 >> 0

Ultimate (↓)

  • Bonus Damage: 80-240 >> 60-240
  • Cooldown: 38-32s >> 48-36s

AOE radius and angle were slightly reduced.

Carmilla (Buffed)

Ultimate (↑)

Cooldown: 60-50s >> 60-44s

Silvanna (Adjusted)

Experimental Changes: The developers are making Silvanna feel more unstoppable during her Ultimate, but less so outside her Ultimate.

Skill 2 (↓)

Removed Effect: Silvanna cannot be interrupted while casting this skill.

Ultimate (↑)

New Effect: Silvanna is immune to control effects while in her Circle of Light.

Equipment changes

Molten Essence (↓)

Damage Bonus: 0.8% of Max HP >> 0.6% of Max HP

New Emblems

Developers have adjusted Talents to provide more options for different heroes.

Standard Talents (Tier 2)

  • Common – Life Drain : HP Regen 2% >> 2.5%
  • Tank – Tenacity: HP threshold: 40% >> 50%, Defense increase: 15 >> 20
  • Assassin – [Master Assassin]:zz Damage increase: 3% >> 4%
  • Support – Pull Yourself Together: Reduce Respawn Time >> Reduce Equipment Active Skill CD

Core Talents (Tier 3)

  • Common – Open Fire replaced by [Impure Rage: We have adjusted the damage, cooldown and Mana Regen for this old Talent.
    • Deal Magic Damage equal to 4% of the target’s current HP >> 50-225 Adaptive Damage (scales with level)
    • Cooldown: 3s >> 5s
    • Mana Regen: 2% >> 3%
  • Common – Quantum Charge: HP restored: 30% Physical Attack >> 120-520 (scales with level)
  • Fighter – Brave Smite: Cooldown: 8s >> 6s

Other changes

  • Optimized the animation of the invincibility period during Sun’s Ultimate.
  • Developers think that some hero adjustments still need more testing, so they have temporarily reverted the adjustments made to the following heroes to be the same as the Official Server. We will continue to consider adjustments in future versions:
  • Natalia, Harley, Angela, Luo Yi, and Balmond (Balmond will keep the use optimization to his Skill 2).
